Quick Buy adds a small add-to-cart button to the product cards in your store, so shoppers can add a product to the cart straight from a collection page or search results, without opening the product page. Fewer steps to the cart means less friction and more add-to-carts from browsing shoppers.
How it works
- Products with one variant are added with a single click.
- Products with several variants show a list of variants when the button is clicked, so shoppers pick the right size or color first.
- An optional quantity selector lets shoppers add more than one unit.
- After adding, you decide what happens: open the slide cart, go to the cart page or go straight to checkout.
Options
- Devices: show the button on tablets and mobile devices, on desktop computers, or both.
- Position: top right or top left of the product card.
- Size: normal, medium or big.
- Icon and colors: choose the button icon, the icon color and the button background.
- Exclusions: hide Quick Buy on specific products by adding the product tag shown in the app's settings.
Where it appears
Quick Buy is added to product cards that link to a product page, such as collection pages, search results, home page product sections and product recommendations. Products that load later, for example after filtering, sorting or loading more results, receive the button once they appear.
When it doesn't appear
- On the cart page.
- On a device type you turned off.
- On products that have the Quick Buy hide tag.
- On themes whose product cards the app can't detect automatically. In that case a small theme adjustment is needed, and our support team can complete it for you.
Best practices
- Open the slide cart after adding, so shoppers see their cart and your cart upsells right away.
- Pick a position that doesn't cover your theme's sale badges or wishlist icons.
- Choose colors that stand out from your product photos.
- Hide Quick Buy on products that need personalization or careful option choices on the product page.
Troubleshooting
- The button is missing on some cards: check the device settings and the product's tags, then contact us if your theme needs the manual adjustment.
- A product can't be added: products that can only be bought as a subscription, or variants that are sold out, can't be added with Quick Buy. Shoppers can buy them from the product page.
- The button overlaps other icons: switch its position or size.
